Creative Learning Academy provides an intimate learning environment for children ages infant (three months) through second grade. We enhance the development of your young child through a Theme-Dramatic Curriculum. The children develop and fine-tune the skills necessary for achievement and success in their later school years. They don't even realize they are learning. To them, it is simply fun.
In 1994, Creative Learning relocated to the campus formerly known as the Gingerbread Child Care Center at 1458/62 Bear-Corbitt Road. We are located on Route 7—¼ mile North of Route 71 (Red Lion Road). Many of our staff have been here since CLA first began and some were even students.

Creative Learning Academy is a non-profit school operated by a Board consisting of teachers and parents. CLA is characterized as a Family School because of its focus on each child's individual needs and abilities in a home-like environment. But the concept of the CLA family can also be attributed to our rich traditions, such as the Family & Friends Picnic in September, the family trip to NYC, the monthly tours which are always a family event, the final awards evening in May where all student's accomplishments are recognized, the strong parent teacher partnership (PTP), the end of the year Graduation Ceremony complete with family barbecue, and our teachers long tenure.
Goals
To provide an interactive, hands-on, creative, flexible, balanced, and relevant curriculum that:
a) challenges students according to their ability, learning styles, and level of achievement. b) prepare students for a lifetime of learning c) offer opportunities for personal exploration, self-discovery, and self-evaluation.
To provide a wide variety of activities which will give students full opportunities for participation and personal development. To respect and to value the staff and to support and encourage their intellectual and professional growth in order to maintain a highly capable educational team. To provide the proper environment for learning by maintaining small classes in which students and faculty enjoy a close relationship. To involve our families in the ongoing life and activities of the school.

Employment Opportunities:
Now Training for Preschool, PreKindergarten, and Kindergarten Teachers; Bachelors or Masters degree in EE or ECE, Experience is helpful, FT; Mon-Fri,7 am - 4 pm. PT hrs are also available, Pd Vaca, sick, & training.
Extended Care Teacher; Assoc or Bach degree in EE, ECE or related field required and experience w/large group. Training begins asap, Benefits, Great working environment. Hours: 2/3/4 pm - 6 pm. (Occasional once per month until 7 pm).
Summer Camp '09 Staff; Counselors and Lifeguard - Enthusiasm, creativity, energetic, detail-oriented, and experience in a group environment necessary, FT, paid training, Great working environment, and Pay!
Substitute and PT Assistants; To be On-Call for various positions, full or part day.
Housekeeping Tech; 3-4 hours per day (3-7 pm or 4-8 pm), Mon. thru Fri.
