PHILOSOPHY & CURRICULUM

Every day the students are offered an array of choice activities identified as Learning Centers. The Learning Centers are where the students construct all the segments needed to bring their Theme Dramatics area to life and cultivate those light bulb moments. They may scissor-cut, paste, paint, create, mold, color, explore, research, graph, etc. During Circle Time, students get the chance to share and be themselves through stories, songs, show-and-tell, games, etc.

ACE curriculum offers continuity, structure, respect, responsibility, independence, and most importantly, fun—All of which contribute to our integrated, hands-on learning environment. Continuity builds self-esteem and trust, thus enhancing each child's confidence and independence.  Students have certain expectations of the adults in their lives and the world around them. Students feel more secure when events they come to expect...actually happen. Theme Dramatics gives back “the power” to ACE students!

Students explore many different subjects and concepts hands-on through Theme Dramatics.

At ACE, parents feel secure knowing that their children are being challenged every step of the way and are having a stimulating, educational, funfilled day in the best of care. ACE boast low class size, no more than 10 students per class excluding infant/toddler. The primary classrooms are combination levels to provide extra attention to those students who need review and enrichment and accelerated challenges for those who are advanced. ACE also offers enrichment classes such as art, music, foreign languages (French and Spanish), sign language, gymnastics, dance, chorus, and photography.
